01 · The problem
Most maritime activity is invisible.
Conventional surveillance relies on cooperative AIS transponders. Illicit operators simply switch them off — or spoof their GPS — and disappear from public view. By the time a coast guard reacts, the cargo is on its way.

Pollution at sea is invisible — until we make it visible.
Most marine pollution events disappear from public record within hours: slicks disperse, AIS gets switched off, and by the time a coast guard arrives, the source vessel is gone. SheerSea freezes the evidence the moment a satellite sees it.

Sentinel-1 SAR scans the ocean every few days, day or night, through clouds. We extract every metallic hull and cross-match it against AIS broadcasts in real time.
Authenticate
Galileo OSNMA cryptographically signs every navigation message. If the log isn't signed, the position is fabricated — and we know it.
Block
When the suspect vessel reaches Genoa, Rotterdam or Hamburg, the customs officer already has a pre-filled legal dossier in their inbox.
